The Hemingway is a small book shop café based in a local town. The business was recently taken over and because of this, the new owners decided to update the branding to reflect their personality and attract a new kind of client.
In our initial discovery call, we identified that the client wants to try and attract more millennials to the bookshop. We created the branding to be vibrant and modern to reflect this, whilst still being in keeping with the general vibe of the bookshop itself. The colour palette was chosen to be more feminine, as they found out during market research that their customers tend to be female.
After we created the logos, submark and brand pattern, we decided to create some packaging designs for the client to use later. This enables the client to have consistent branding across all of their materials.
