The Design Process

Step 1

As a small business, I ask for a deposit and signed contract before I begin – but only once we’ve agreed the right service for you and your business needs. At first, it’s all about really getting to know you, your goals and your ‘why’. I love building a relationship with my clients. Then, I gather visual inspiration, research your target market and start to build a comprehensive branding strategy – confident it will be totally aligned with your requirements.

Step 2

It’s time for your feedback on the strategy and the creative direction. With your approval, I’ll then begin the preliminary designs and concept development. I will share with you a presentation of my designs and versions of your logo mocked up in ‘real-life situations’ to help you see your brand identity coming to life. At this stage, I work with you to ensure my designs truly encapsulate your business and will engage your clients.

Step 3

I make sure you’re 100% happy with your designs and can make any final revisions – I want you to absolutely love it. It’s about the finishing touches that will make your brand stand out. Along with any design work, you’ll receive a brand guidelines document to help you implement your brand and maintain consistency on your own. This is not the end, however. I will always be on hand if you need any help with this or further design support.
